Pokémon Winds & Waves: HOME and Champions Connectivity Status

Does Winds & Waves support Pokémon HOME?

Not confirmed. The Pokémon Company has announced nothing about Pokémon HOME connectivity for Winds & Waves. That’s normal for this stage — HOME support for past mainline games was typically detailed close to launch. Expect an announcement closer to the 2027 release.

What is confirmed in the ecosystem?

Pokémon Champions — the franchise’s competitive battling platform released April 8, 2026 — officially supports Pokémon HOME. It can pull in Pokémon from past mainline RPGs and Pokémon GO, meaning the plumbing between HOME, GO, and the new generation already exists. Champions also serves as the official VGC platform starting with the 2026 Worlds circuit.

So will my old Pokémon make it to Winds & Waves?

Almost certainly, eventually — but that’s inference, not a promise. Series precedent (every Switch-era RPG integrated HOME) plus Champions’ existing HOME link make it very likely. What’s genuinely unknown: the timing, whether all species are transferable, and whether W&W Pokémon can move into Champions. We track announcements in News & Leaks.

What about GO integration?

Also unannounced. Champions already bridges GO via HOME, so a chain (GO → HOME → W&W) is plausible — but officially, nothing connects GO to Winds & Waves yet. For the full confirmed feature list, see new features and the master ledger at everything we know.
